Cranked music box frog king

A culture of legends and fairy tales has always been deeply rooted in the Ore Mountains. With our fairy tale edition, we pick up a new motif to collect every year. The edition also includes a small crank playing box with the motif of the “Frog King”. All figures are hand painted. It is of course particularly fascinating for little princesses – whether on the birthday table or at birth, it is a great gift that will bring joy for a lifetime.

Grimm’s fairy tale “The Frog King” is about the pretty princess who one fine day is playing with her gold ball at a fountain. However, when the ball falls into the well, a frog comes to the surface and offers to help. In return, the princess has to be the new playmate for the frog and share the table and bed with him. The princess agrees. But when the frog pulls the ball out of the water, it runs straight back into its lock. The frog, however, hops after it and knocks on the castle door during communion. At her father’s insistence, the princess lets the frog in and tells the father about the promise she has made. When evening falls and the frog asks to be lifted into the bed of the princess, she throws him against the wall. No sooner has she done this than the frog transforms into a young prince.

The high-quality hand music box consists of over 50 tiny parts made of wood. The figures are painted by hand. The crank playing box is provided with a mechanical and durable SANKYO play mechanism. You have to lend a hand here – the melody sounds when you turn the crank.
