What do they say about a finely tuned engine – it runs like clockwork? Turn it around with the Ugears Motor clock, a finely tuned clock that runs (and looks) like an engine! This functional mechanical table clock with pendulum has a car theme, with an engine block design on top with moving pistons and a time display in the style of a speedometer (hours) and tachometer (minutes). The action of the pendulum and the clock’s interior make a delightful ticking sound, while the elapsing seconds are displayed on the back of the clock. The engine clock tells time up to 5 hours on a single winding (running time can be extended by another 60 to 90 minutes if the pistons are disengaged). A retrograde mechanism on the minute hand automatically resets after 60 minutes.
Wind the engine clock using the ignition key on the front of the clock. To set the time, turn the large gear closest to the clock face (the retrograde mechanism) clockwise until the minute hand reaches zero, then use your finger to move the hour hand counterclockwise to set it to the current hour.
