This old-fashioned truck is certainly beautiful to look at, but it’s not just for show. The Ugears Lumberjack Pickup is a working truck with a job to do by hauling lumber (or hay bales or equipment pieces – whatever you can think of)! The homemade wooden model is based on the popular 1959 Chevrolet 3100 and features a 1 m x 7 mm spring engine (the same as the powerful Ugears Drift Cobra) allowing the pickup to travel up to 6 meters and carry loads of 400 – 450 g in the cargo box. The wind-up button is styled to resemble a custom-made open air filter coming out of the hood. Lift the hood to reveal the beautiful V8 engine!

The Lumberjack Pickup has 3 gears: R (Reverse), N (Neutral), D (Forward). Spring energy is transferred to a gear set to increase the transmission ratio, through the gearbox to the drive shaft, differential and rear axle. A Start/Stop mechanism in the truck body starts the truck on command. Because this is Ugears and because we like to focus on the little quirky details that make a model exceptional, a small crank under the seats simulates the vibration of a truck’s powerful engine.
