About Monchhichi: Born in 1974, in Japan. The creator of Monchhichi, Mr. Sekiguchi, combined the Kuta Kuta Monkey of plush with the vinyl face of the GeGe thumb-sucking doll. He immediately made twins: a boy and a girl. The cuddly monkeys became a sales hit in Japan at lightning speed and still conquer children’s hearts all over the world.
